Foundry in Hronec was founded in the first half of the 19th century. New stage of production of castings made of ductile cast iron has started in the 1980s. In September 2000, the foundry was bought by join-stock company ZLH a.s., which changed its business name to ZLH Plus, a.s. in 2008. Production of castings made of steel was renewed in 2011.
